The mission of the Costa Rica Palm Society is:

To utilize our "Passion for Palms" to heighten awareness and appreciation of Palms in Costa Rica, to serve as a resource for Cultural Information, assist in the preservation of native species and introduce both natives and exotics for greater commercial and public availability.
